Anni Oskala

Research Director

Longitudinal Surveys

Anni Oskala is Research Director in the Longitudinal team, working as Project Manager on Understanding Society, the world's largest longitudinal household panel survey. Anni has worked on Understanding Society since joining NatCen in 2009.

Before taking up her current role as overall project manager, she was responsible for managing questionnaire and document translations on Wave 2 and the development process for Innovation Panel 4 and the Wave 4 pilot.

Prior to joining NatCen Anni worked in the research team at Arts Council England, where she focussed on quantitative analysis of patterns in arts and cultural participation based on data from the ‘Taking Part’ survey, authoring and co-authoring a number of publications.
