Eilidh Currie

Researcher

ScotCen

Eilidh Currie joined ScotCen in March 2017, and is working primarily on the Scottish Crime and Justice Survey and Growing Up in Scotland. 

Before joining ScotCen’s research team Eilidh completed an MSc in Public and Urban Policy at the University of Glasgow, where she conducted a qualitative study on the legacy of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

She also holds an MA in Social Policy and Sociology from the University of Edinburgh, where she used quantitative data from the Scottish Crime and Justice Survey to explore experiences of domestic abuse in Scotland.  

Eilidh is a mixed-methods researcher, and has experience conducting research using in-depth interviews, focus groups, as well as secondary data analysis.

Her central research interests include health, crime and education.
