In an increasingly digital age, social media research offers new ways of understanding social attitudes and behaviours.

In an increasingly digital age, social media research offers new ways of understanding social attitudes and behaviours. At the London HQ of Twitter, this early evening event featured presentations from researchers who have used social media for research in a range of settings including government and academia, followed by a panel discussion. The event was part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science

The speakers explained their findings, methods and the social value of their research, providing attendees with a new understanding of what social media research has to offer and how it can be used to complement 'traditional' social research methods.
