A Questionnaire Development & Testing case study
In 2015, the Questionnaire Development & Testing researchers were commissioned by Shelter to cognitively test new questions developed by the housing and homelessness charity. Their survey aims to collect information on satisfaction and outcomes from members of the public who have received advice or support from Shelter.
How we helped
We helped Shelter to evaluate whether their advice and support services were achieving the desired outcomes based on their strategic outcomes framework. Ten cognitive interviews with service-users were conducted in order to test the new questions that Shelter had designed.
Given that the survey was going to be conducted over the telephone, QDT methodologists used their expertise to ensure that the questions were concise, clear and comprehensible for this mode.
