Behaviour change

We are part of the Department for Education supported Centre for Understanding Behaviour Change (CUBeC) working alongside a multidisciplinary range of behaviour change experts.

Research has a key role in informing how you can apply this area of theory, and here at NatCen much of our research is concerned with understanding patterns of behaviour and behaviour change.

We have experts who understand the different schools of thought within behaviour change theory and other related areas of theory such as practice theory and critical realism. We don't believe that one theory will help solve all problems, but we use theory to help frame a research problem and think through the implications.
