Our specialist Data Managers are experienced in managing and delivering data for continuous, ad hoc and longitudinal projects. We are one of the biggest UK depositors archiving data with the ESDS Data Archive and our surveys feature amongst the top 10 accessed surveys at the archive.
About our data management
We have considerable expertise in data management and data enhancement so we can:
- Ensure the quality of your data
- Check the consistency of complex data longitudinally, such as household grids and employment histories
- Derive complex variables to aid/facilitate analysis
- Create complex event history datasets and bespoke datasets
- Quality control data linkage to administrative records such as Hospital Episodes Statistics (HES) data, NHSCR data (relating to mortality data and cancer registrations), and HMRC and DWP records (relating to National Insurance contributions, benefits, tax records and pension data).
- Safeguard respondent confidentiality and minimise the risk of statistical disclosure
