
Elizabeth's work is primarily concentrated in the area of
attitudinal research. She is a co-director of the British Social
Attitudes survey series and has led on the design and analysis of a
number of quesiton sets including those focussing on attitudes to
euthanasia, anti-social behaviour and food
technologies.
She has also worked on a number of ad hoc attitudinal studies
including a study of public attitudes to medical research and
science education for the Wellcome Trust and a survey of attitudes
to pensions and financial planning for retirement for DWP. She
currently works in the Society and Social Change Group.
