Researcher
Elizabeth has been the Research Director for the Survey of Smoking, Drinking and Drug Use among Young People In England since 2005. As well as supervising the design and day-to-day management of the survey, she is responsible for editing the annual report of survey findings. She also leads NatCen's research team as part of the consortium carrying out the 2009/10 Adult Dental Health Survey. Previous projects include a national survey of cancer patients, the MRC-funded biomedical follow-up of the 1958 birth cohort, the Health Survey for England and the Welsh Health Survey. Her research interests include alcohol, drug use and young people's health. She currently works in the Health and Wellbeing Group.
