
Eloise is a mixed-methods Senior Researcher in the Children and
Young People Group at NatCen Social Research. She is currently
working on a Nuffield Foundation funded study looking at the uptake
of child maintenance among single parents claiming benefits and the
Evaluation of Children's Centres in England for DfE. Her other work
includes the most recent wave of the Student Income and Expenditure
Study for BIS.
Eloise has a long-standing interest in family policy, especially
concerning family structures, maternal employment and the gendered
division of labour at work and in the home.
Past projects Eloise has worked on at NatCen Social Research
include the study of Maternity and paternity rights and women
returners, the Childcare and Early Years Survey of Parents 2009,
the Welsh Childcare and Early Years Survey 2009, and an Evaluation
of Child Maintenance Options.
