Eloise is a mixed-methods researcher at NatCen. She is currently working on the Childcare and Early Years Survey of Parents 2009 and the Welsh Childcare and Early Years Survey 2009, which both explore parents’ views, use and experiences of childcare, and involve a face-to-face survey and telephone checks on childcare providers. Eloise is also working on the Evaluation of Child Maintenance Options, an information and support serviced aimed at separated parents, for the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission which involves both qualitative and quantitative elements. Eloise has a long-standing interest in family policy, especially concerning family structures, maternal employment and the gendered division of labour at work and in the home.
