Researcher | Trainer
Jenny is a Researcher Director in the Income and Work team. She joined NatCen in 2001 and is a specialist qualitative researcher. Jenny has managed projects across a range of policy areas and client groups, with particular experience of research with disadvantaged groups.
Her recent work has included the evaluation of the Incapacity Benefits Pathways, an evaluation for Acas on the Code of Practice for Grievance and Disciplinary procedures and work for the Health and Safety Executive on staff experiences of bullying, harassment and discrimination.
She is currently working on the qualitative element of the Work Search and Wellbeing Study amongst JSA claimants for DWP.
Jenny leads NatCen's course on qualitative research design and teaches in other methods areas including ethics, the conduct of fieldwork, report writing and qualitative data analysis.
