
Kelly is our Head of Data Management at NatCen. She is responsible for leading on a wide range of initiatives in data management including developing and coordinating our data infrastructure and data strategy. Kelly has over eight years experience working with longitudinal data such as the birth cohort studies (NCDS, BCS70 and MCS). She joined NatCen in February 2007 and specialises in the data management process, particularly establishing best practice procedures in relation to data quality, data enhancement (including data linkage) and data documentation. She also develops and teaches courses for NatCen staff on the data management process. Prior to joining NatCen, Kelly worked as a Research Officer at the Centre for Longitudinal Studies and she has a MSc in Social Research Methods from the University of Surrey.
