Dec 2012 |
Researcher |

About the study

As a result of policy changes since 2000, there are very high levels of concessionary pass ownership in England. Of those eligible on the grounds of age, a clear majority (77 per cent) own a concessionary bus pass. Fifty-two per cent of concessionary pass holders use their pass at least once a week. Almost all (98 per cent of) bus trips made by those eligible for a pass are made by concessionary pass holders.
