FAQ: Study
When will the findings be available?
We will be updating these pages with information about findings as they are published. Reports on the modules run in 2009, that were funded by the Scottish Government, are expected to be published in Spring 2010.
Why have I been selected to take part in the study?
Your address has been randomly selected from a Postcode Address File (letter-boxes) sample covering the whole of Scotland. To ensure accurate results, we need the help of the people chosen for the study – no other household can take your place - or the results would be unrepresentative.
Who funds the study?
The 2009 study is funded by the Scottish Government, NHS Health Scotland and the Leverhulme Trust.
When will the data be available for academic study and further research?
The 2009 SSA dataset is expected to be deposited in Autumn 2010.
