Why take part?

Colleges

By taking part, you will be providing information that will help us determine whether the texting intervention has an impact on student attendance and achievement in GCSE maths or English resits, and understand how and why these changes take place.

The data you supply to us - whether that's student attendance data, information about the amount of time you spent on the project, or via an interview with one of our researchers - is integral to our evaluation. The study can only take place with your support.

Students and Study Supporters

By taking part in our evaluation of Project SUCCESS, you are playing a vital part in helping us understand whether the programme helps students succeed in their GCSE resits. Without data on student GCSE results (which we will get from the National Pupil Database) and on attendance in classes, we would not be able to measure whether Project SUCCESS has made a difference.

Asked to take part in an interview?

Hearing from students and study supporters first hand is extremely important in helping us understand how and why Project SUCCESS is helping students with their GCSE resits.
