Evaluation of the Trauma Risk Management pilot

The RNLI want to find out how they can improve the support they give to staff and volunteers who have experienced trauma as part of their lifesaving work.

About the evaluation

NatCen is evaluating the pilot of the Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) programme on behalf of the RNLI.

The RNLI will use the results of this evaluation to develop better support for staff and volunteers who experience potentially traumatic events during the course of their lifesaving work.

What’s involved?

  • A short 5 minute online survey for all RNLI staff and volunteers.
  • Interviews with RNLI staff and volunteers in four areas where TRiM has been implemented.

What will happen to my information?

We will write a report for RNLI and they will use this report to help develop the support offered to staff and volunteers. The report will be published on this website and the RNLI's website.

We will never use anyone’s name and it will not be possible to identify any participants in the report. You can find out more about how we protect your information here.
