NatCen to deliver three more years of the English Housing Survey
16 May 2016
The Department for Communities and Local Government has awarded the contract for delivering three more years of the English Housing Survey to NatCen Social Research.
NatCen will work with the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and CADS Housing Surveys to assess the housing conditions of people in England.
The survey of around 13,300 households per year and physical inspection of around 6,200 homes provides important information about the type of housing people are living in and the energy efficiency of English homes.
NatCen Chief Executive, Guy Goodwin commented: “This is a great testament to the work of our household surveys team who have done an excellent job on this survey over the past 4 years. The English Housing Survey is a vital source of information about one of the most important issues of the moment.”
