Stop it Now! is a helpline and advice service. The ultimate aim of Stop it Now! is to prevent the sexual abuse of children, by providing advice and support to actual or potential perpetrators, their family, and the public.

This evaluation involved interviewing users of the Stop it Now! services and exploring with them ways in which they have been supported to avoid and minimise their sexually harmful behaviour.
This evaluation was co-funded by the European Commission Daphne. Together with our project partners we evaluated Stop it Now! in the UK and Ireland, and Stop it Now! in the Netherlands.
- Scoping stage analysing existing administrative data, Stop it Now! material and interviewing staff and stakeholders
- Interviews with users of the Stop it Now! helpline and support - this involved anonymous telephone interviews and face to face interviews
- Stakeholder visits to partner countries in Europe
- Final seminar and reporting
