Evaluation of Nature Friendly Schools

We are evaluating Nature Friendly Schools, a programme which aims to build resilience in children and young people through outdoor learning activities.

NatCen is evaluating the Nature Friendly Schools (NFS) programme, which supports outdoor learning activities and aims to build resilience among pupils. The programme is co-delivered by Education Officers and staff in participating schools.

NatCen has been funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Department of Education (DfE) to conduct an independent evaluation of the programme.

These pages provide information about the evaluation of Nature Friendly Schools. If you have any queries about the evaluation, please contact the study team on 0207 549 7017 during office hours, or via email: Evaluation_NFS@natcen.ac.uk.
