SEED - Study of Early Education and Development
Help us and the DfE understand the impact of early education
Thank you for your interest in the SEED study.
A new wave of SEED is taking place in 2023 and we are excited to return to face-to-face fieldwork with families. This wave also includes a short survey with the class teachers of SEED children, examining the children’s attitudes, behaviours and developments in school.
In 2020 and 2021, we carried out two special waves of the SEED survey of families. These examined families’ experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and school closures. Results of these special waves of SEED can be found on the findings page.
If you would like to find out more, please visit the SEED project website. It provides additional information, and contact details for the research team should you have further questions.
