Our people
David is a Research Director in Statistics at NatCen. He joined in May 2008 and has over fifteen years experience as a statistician, mostly in social and market research. Previous employers include IPSOS-MORI and NOP (now GfK). At NatCen he is involved in survey sampling and weighting, statistical modeling and training of non-statisticians. He works on a number of large-scale surveys including the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing and the Welsh Health Survey.
David has experience of developing and delivering a range of courses in statistical methods and software. At NatCen he has taught courses in Basic Statistics and Regression to researchers at various organisations including the Home Office, the Audit Commission and the TUC.
David has a master's degree in Social Statistics from the University of Kent.
